Lip Balm

Lip Balm

Cold days are officialy here!

Sunny and warm days have switched with rain, snow, cold and dark days.
It is a time to wear sweaters, drink cup of tea and eat Heissi Marroni (my favourite) and use very good lip balm.

Have you ever thought about making your own lip balm?
It’s very easy, and what is the best, once you try to make your own lip balm, you will never want to buy it again.

What we need:

  • 100% pure bees wax
  • Cocoa butter
  • recyclable lip balm tube
  • Olive oil / coconut oil
  • pot with water
  • tea spoon
  • glass or Chocolate melting pan

Vegan option: switch bees wax with Candelilla wax.

Pur water into the pot and heat it, in meanwhile prepare all ingredients you need for the balm.
Recipe for the balm:

  • 1 1/2 tea spoon of Beeswax
  • 1 1/2 tea spoon of Cocoa Butter
  • 1 1/2 tea spoon of coconut oil

Put melting pan with all ingredients into hot water bath. Wait couple of minutes until it all melts, steer it with a spoon and slowly pur into prepared recyclable paper balm tube.

Once you pur it, let it cool down for about 24 hours.

After it is cooled down properly, you are ready to use your lip balm.
I have been using mine for several month and it is the best!!!
It keeps lips perfectly moisturized and beautiful.
You will love it!

Remember: there are no additional preservatives inside, which means it might go bad if you don’t use it or you forget about it🙈
(I am using mine almost half a year now and it is still perfectly fine).

PS: Bees wax, Cocoa Butter, recyclable lip balm Tube I bought from ZEco Waste store in ZH.
